Sebastian Hedgecoe  

CEO & President    (Spain)

Sebastian is a graduate of the RCA Film School, MA (1987), a graduate in Graphic Design of Hornsey Art School, BA (1984) and the (BBC) National Broadcasting School in (1984). Sebastian is a Writer, Photographer, Artist, Film Director and a Designer of Spaces and Avante-Garde Events. During the course of his career he has worked as an Art Director and Production Designer in stills and the moving image in the USA, Europe and Australia. Surrounded by many of the most highly influential fine artists from birth, notably the sculptor Henry Moore who was a close family friend, he is the son of two highly prolific and internationally renowned Photographers, the late Professor John Hedgecoe, (Pro-rector of the RCA for 13 years) and the worlds best selling, leading author of books on Photography, and Julia Hedgecoe a distinguished portrait photographer. Returning from LA to the UK (1993) Sebastian designed and established highly successful multi-disciplinary Artists Studio Complexes in North London. Running these for 18 years he helped launch and fast-track a prolific number of artistic and creative careers in multiple disciplines. He has advised on numerous Arts and Cultural Complexes in London, the UK and Internationally. Sebastian has worked for prominent clients in Advertising, Design, Film TV, Publishing and the Fine Art world whilst always pushing the boundaries of his own artistic practice.


Adam Whittaker    

Executive Director    (Spain)

Adam is an award-winning Producer and Executive in the television and film industries with a distinguished career in motion pictures. He was one of the founding partners of Limelight Films which became one of the world's leading independent production companies. Among its spectrum of award-winning work were title sequences for three James Bond films, an Emmy winning children's series and hundreds of music videos for leading artists who included The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Peter Gabriel, Dire Straits, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, David Bowie and many others. Adam was chairman of Framestore for ten years and instrumental in making it the largest visual effects and computer animation studio in Europe today. Adam has always championed new Writers, Actors, Directors, Filmmakers and the Artistic Storytellers. He consults on Script Development, connection to Creative Talent, International Independent Film Production and the ever emerging use of low cost new technologies including the avant-garde approach of shooting Feature Films with iPhones and new forms of Moving Image and Multi-Media Distribution and Exhibition.


Thida Htun

Executive Finance Director    (Spain)

Thida is a graduate of Mandalay University, Burma (1994) with a B.Sc.(Hons.) in Mathematics. Thida is a specialist in Financial Management with strategic and commercial experience in International Trade, Credit Analysis and International Market Assessment. She speaks Burmese, English and Spanish. Thida ran the International Food Department of the Toyota Tsusho Corporation for 14 years in Rangoon, Singapore, Japan and London. She masterminded highly successful advances in Toyota's business working practices and product list, increasing their revenues significantly during this time. Thida's extensive experience of working across Asia, Africa, Europe and South America, is matched by her great personal knowledge and passion for the arts, culture and indigenous crafts of the East and the West.


Regis Cabral PhD

Executive Director Atmósfera Foundation    (Sweden - Spain)

Regis is a Swedish historian, a physicist, a specialist in technology and knowledge transfer and evaluations of university -society interfaces. He has published more than 300 books, articles and reports on scientific and technological subjects. He speaks eight languages and is known for the 'Cabral-Dahab Science Park Management Paradigm' used to study, plan and evaluate science parks, business incubators and similar organisations. Regis has a PhD from the University of Chicago

(1986) an MA in History of Science, University of California, Berkeley (1980) an MSc in Physics from UNICAMP, Brazil (1978) and a BSc in Physics from UFRGS in Brazil (1976). Regis is a prolific Poet with an artistic family heritage.

Arran Milne is a graduate of Photographic Arts from the University of Westminster, London (2015). Working for the Joan Miró Estate for eight years, he has experience in executive support and managing the extensive art collection, preparing over 40 international exhibitions in leading museums. The Centro Botín Santander “Joan Miró: Sculptures 1928-1982” (2018), the Grand Palais Paris “Miró, la couleur de mes rêves” (2018/2019) and the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec “Miró in Mallorca: A Wild Spirit” (2019) being a few of these. Arran´s childhood was spent in Spain and he is fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan. Previously he has assisted on numerous Summer Courses for the Arts University of Bournemouth and the Academy International School in Mallorca, as well as production coordinating multiple Arts Documentaries for international crews shooting in the Balearic Islands.


Anthony Harrild PhD

Anthony Harrild is Ruskin Professor Emeritus of Art at Cambridge School of Art, founder and curator of the Ruskin Gallery Cambridge and the Code Digital Gallery. Educated at Exeter St Andrews and the Slade, he has taught at Arts Schools in Brighton, Cambridge, Farnham, Kingston, London, Newcastle on Tyne and Sheffield and has been awarded Professorial titles at three UK universities. Anthony was editor-in-chief of POINT, the art and design research journal and he founded and edited Film Form magazine.



Fernando Gutierrez RDI

Born in London to Spanish parents, Fernando Gutiérrez studied at the London College of Printing (1980–86), graduating with a degree in Graphic Design. He has worked from London, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome and Treviso, with high profile organisations including El Pais Newspaper, Matador Arts Magazine, Colors Magazine, The Prado Museum, Pace London, Tate Modern, the V&A and The Design Museum. Fernando has previously worked at CDT Design (London 1986–92), Summa (Barcelona 1990–91) and co-founded Grafica with Pablo Martín (Barcelona 1993–00). In 2000 Fernando left Grafica to become a partner at international design consultancy Pentagram (London 2000–06), before establishing Studio Fernando Gutiérrez (London 2006–present).Fernando is a regular on judging panels for international design and photography awards, and member of the advisory board for the Goldsmiths Press and a member of the editorial board of Eye Magazine (The International review of Graphic Design). 

Mike Demsey RDI

Over 5 decades Mike Dempsey has created everything from stamps to film title sequences. He is a writer, photographer, broadcaster, painter and blogger. He is also an elected member of Alliance Graphic International, Past President of D&AD and Master of The Faculty of Royal Designers for Industry. In 2012 he was awarded a special Black Pencil for most awarded designer at British Design & Art Direction's (D&ADS's) 50th anniversary.



Mark James

Director    (Spain)      

Mark James is an award winning Film Director and a graduate of the RCA Film School (1987) and previously a graduate of fine art from Goldsmiths University, London (1984). Mark has directed arts and cultural films for the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky Arts with subjects which have included the sculptor Carl Andre, pop artist Richard Hamilton, musicians Bryan Ferry, Dave Stewart, Phil Collins, choreographer Trisha Brown, and a 3D dance spectacular with the English National Ballet. Other films of his have included Charities Commercials and the Feature Documentary “Studio 17: The Lost Reggae Tapes” that

premiered on BBC 4 in (2019) and was in the official selection of the Nashville Film Festival (2019) as well as the Pan African Film Festival, LA (2020).


Jason Adams

Jason Adams is a highly experienced Photographer and a graduate of Barnstable Art School (1988) and the Blackpool School of Arts (1991). Jason is foremost a people photographer, having initially worked for seven years as a press photographer for the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday newspapers in London. During this time, he transitioned into fashion, beauty, portraiture and advertising photography, developing a diverse and dynamic portfolio. His work reflects a deep passion for capturing compelling images that tell stories.

Carl Grinter is a Film Producer with specialist experience of Post Production for over 27 years. Previously Director of Production and Commercial Director at Rushes Postproduction, Carl has worked across feature films, broadcast tv, digital content and commercials. He is currently Executive Producer at the specialist animation, design and interactive company Three Wise Monkeys. Previously for 10 years he was managing director of Red Post Production. His Career started at Hibbert Ralph Animation who were specialists of 2d and 3d animation and film visual effects.

Roger is a highly experienced Writer, Producer and Director whose career began at LWT and developed through film and video documentaries, drama, and into the current digital age. His broad field of work has included multi-national corporations and highly specialised iconic sporting institutions. He has worked across all of Europe as well as over 25 other countries around the world. He has produced and directed for the BBC, The Discovery Channel, Channel 4 and ESPN covering educational, scientific, adventure, arts and cultural subjects.

A veteran Creative Lighting Designer and owner of a Stage Set Production Company, James has pioneered his place in the industry for over 35 years. Lighting large-scale rock concerts, notably the Pyramid Stage and Shangri-la at Glastonbury and literally hundreds of other festivals, he has also lit countless architectural projects, corporate events and fashion shows. His unique collaborations both large and small have helped launch some very well known performance artists, musicians and interactive media artists. He currently has projects in Africa, the UK, Australia and the United Arab Emirates.

Emma Cherry Rolf lives near Ronda and has over 30 years experience of writing, performing, teaching and facilitating theatre productions in both Spanish and English. She is part of the dynamic Spanish Performing Arts School; Proyecto Platea and is a member of the Resident Theatre Company in Ronda formed by Marcos Marcell. Emma originally trained in Dance and Acting in London at the Bush Davies School of Dance & Dramatic Arts and the Rose Bruford School of Speech & Drama respectively. Founder and Principle of her own company; Moonlight Theatre Company in 1989 she has also worked with the London Arts Council, Theatre Royal Stratford East, Royal Shakespeare Company, Battersea Arts Centre, Saddlers Wells and many small Independent Theatres in London and the UK.


Elendil Diez

Elendil graduated from Valencia University in 2002 with a degree in sound engineering. He is a highly experienced sound technician and multi talented musician with more than 25 years experience of running recording studios as an engineer, artist and live event producer. Working with international performing artists and musicians his expertise includes composition and recording for TV, Film and Radio. Previously a grand piano repairer and specialist he was also a public relations expert for 15 years for music and performing arts in Andalucia. His company at that time distributed the weekly newspaper 'The Entertainer'. Elendil is currently the owner/director of Rio Padrón Recording Studios in Estepona, Malaga.

Zelda Cheatle shared a vision with Professor John Hedgecoe and the RCA, and is renowned for her pioneering work in realising that vision to establish photography as a recognised art form. In 1989 Zelda opened the Zelda Cheatle Gallery and for 16 years exhibited excellence in photography nationally and internationally and published 17 monographs. She established the first Photography Fund in 2005-2012. Her work continues as an international expert in Photography, a curator, editor, lecturer and consultant.
